Bob Roberson

Senior Minster

Bob graduated from Abilene Christian College and then the University of Arizona College of Law. In between these two schools, he spent 4 years in the United States Air Force that included a tour of Viet Nam. After many years as an attorney in Arizona, he went to seminary in Johnson City and became a minister. He has served at Central since 2005 except for a 1-year absence. He is married to Debbie and has two daughters, Veronica and Valerie, a son-in-law Stephen and two grandchildren, Hailey, and Brooklyn.

John Livingston

Involvement Minister / Youth Minister

John came on board as staff in January 2021. He had been attending here since 2015. He has volunteered in the Children’s Ministry as the Team Lead since 2017. He has a passion to teach the younger kids and our youth. He has a desire to reach out into the community to build relationships through Jesus Christ. John is Married to his wonderful Wife Heather since 2019. John and Heather both love the Lord and love Central Christian.

Ashley Simcox

Hi, I am Ashley

I grew up in Bristol, Tennessee, where my love for faith, community, and music began. I attended East Tennessee State University and now teach third grade, a role that allows me to encourage, support, and invest in others every day.

While teaching is something I truly love, my first love has always been leading worship. Music has long been the way I connect most deeply with God, and I count it a privilege to help create spaces where people can encounter Him through song. My heart is simply to point others to Jesus and remind them that they are seen, known, and deeply loved.
 
Outside of the classroom and church, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, staying active, and continuing to grow both creatively and spiritually.
